not many people have the language to describe beirut’s sound,
and that includes this review.
the orchestra that goes along with zach condons voice is absolutely surreal.
it actually takes you to another place.
its not the easiest album to listen to though..
on days it can sound bland and slow and on others
it can sound so rich and hearty it can only be pure genius.
and on days like these you really wish everyday could be as magical as they sound.
the sounds of the ukulele and trumpets
just drifts you into a dream of a hazy, orange-tinged world
which has worn out so well you feel light and peaceful.
thats when you know you are absolutely hooked.
their lush sound is unique to them and this is an album to get for the ages.
