Are we human, or are we dancers? I have no idea what it means. I think that this song could quite possibly have some meaning for the man who wrote it. However, I’m sure everyone listening to the song creates a meaning for themselves. If your high and drunk, and you just ingested 2 or 3 tabs of acid, it is possible that the question of , “are we human or are we dancers” might arise. Dancing is ancient, it has been around since the dawn of civilization, and as far as I know humans are the only species that can dance. When one asks the question of “are we human, or are we dancers” it is asking us to pick either one or the other. Essentially it is asking us are we human, or do we define ourselves by what we do. Are we human or are we students? Are we human or are we fighters? The bottom line is that were all human, regardless of the activities we participate in.

Its to do with destiny, do we make our own or do we follow a path made for us. Do we dance to the song being played. In short he is asking if we are puppets of god or a higher being.
